We wanted to share a little more about who we are so that all our members, new or old, can put faces to names, get to know us better, and feel comfortable reaching out. Whether you have a question, an idea, or just want to get involved, now you’ll know exactly where to go!

From the Áras Phádraig stage to the worldwide stage!Everyone in Killarney Musical Society is incredibly proud to see Jessie Buckley win an Oscar, what an amazing and well-deserved achievement!Jessie first graced the stage with us in the Áras Phádraig and then in the Gleneagle Arena, performing in many productions over the years alongside members of her family who were also part of the society. It makes this moment all the more special for so many of us who remember those days so fondly.Her success is blazing a wonderful trail for the arts and showing young and old performers across Kerry and Ireland and the world just what can grow from a love of theatre and music (and hard work). Jessie is a real inspiration to people of all ages who are involved in the arts.We are so proud to have shared a small part of her journey. One word that sums up this year’s show is community…Today was the moment where it all came together….
The moment when the performers met the musicians.
When months of work, rehearsals, nerves and excitement finally align….🔥We are the community, lifting each other up, supporting one another’s talents, and creating something bigger than ourselves. There is no “I” in teamwork!!!Today marked the beginning of the end, the icing on the cake, where the stage truly comes to life 🥹A group of people, one shared goal: to entertain, to connect, to make you feel something🎶We cannot wait for you to see this show.
